About Outdun

Outdun Ltd was started by Adrian and Deb Genefaas in 2012 after Adrian, who had been working as a salesman for a local brick company, noticed that a lot of people were coming in to purchase materials to make pizza ovens but were complaining and frustrated with how long it took to build one from scratch. After speaking with an engineer who worked in the brick factory, Adrian purchased a three-piece pizza oven mould from him, and Outdun Ltd was born. Many kit sets and completed ovens have been sold to happy customers since then.

After leaving the brick company, Adrian went out on his own, cutting brick slips and providing brick estimation services for bricklayers and brick companies.

Recently, an opportunity arose to acquire a large number of old stock clay bricks that were destined for the tip came along, and a yard at 260 Coutts Island Road was leased.

At present, the clay that comes from brick cutting is reused in the manufacture of pizza ovens, and in the future, it is intended to acquire a crusher so that any waste brick can also be used for this purpose. This would achieve the ultimate in recycling and make the whole process virtually waste-free.
